The Ultimate Writing and Presentation Guide

When I wrote and gave my first speech over 12 years ago, I was naive when it had to do with speech writing and public presentation. I put in my best and still came out with something I now consider a product of an empty mind. To put it simply, ‘I was an idiot!’ And then I realised how expensive being an idiot could be.

That speech, “Health and Vitality, the Common Wealth Challenge,” was the start of my learning curve. Over the years I have developed and built myself into a crisp writer and eloquent speaker- I have learnt from mentors by listening and reading; I have also learnt, most importantly, from personal experience.

My learning curve has not entirely been a curve, but a wave line with steep slopes showing what listeners think whenever I speak. I have had situations when I had to create speeches in my head within seconds, and still came out successful. That has become possible due to the years I have put learning, developing and building that part of me. And this has also helped me in my little service in God's Vineyard.

Everyone can write and give good speeches, but you must dedicate time to learning, developing and building yourself first, and grow by experience. I gave my last speech awhile ago, precisely the last Thursday in October, and it was titled, “The Irony of Uncommon Sense.” I gave this speech without writing a word on paper.

You too can learn and develop yourself. And you can do this by spending very little time and money learning from what I have learnt and garnered over the years in my book, “THE ULTIMATE WRITING AND PRESENTATION GUIDE.”
